F-IS103 Colorful abstract border design
Handpainted pattern on cream paper, repeating border design. No name of maker or indication of copyright. Edges torn, probably part of a leporello.
Scans donated by Jackie Isler, from the collection of her grandmother Helen Balmat Gorman. Edited and charted by Sytske Wijnsma.

C-YS046 Gilbert Lehner – Theater-Decorationen: Goethe’s Faust
Fourteen scenery paintings in color, glued to separate grey carton leaves. Accompanied by five pages of explanation how the theater background and coulisses were to be set up. Not much for needlework, but of course suitable as design for theatre backgrounds. Would look fabulous as wall painting.
Scans donated and edited by Sytske Wijnsma.

C-TT002 Boucherit – Grand Album de Modèles pour Filet No. 4
Softcover oblong album, 40 pages of filet patterns of which 20 and 21 are joined as one. The last four pages are small low-res images of larger patterns which were offered for sale. Patterns suitable for filet, filet crochet, cross-stitch and (smaller ones) for beadwork.
Scans donated by Tamara Wijnsma, edited by Sytske Wijnsma.

C-PR010 Alphabets Variés de A. Rouyer 12
Cross-stitch alphabets. Small leporello, incomplete, 5 out of 8 pages. Three complete alphabets and one-fourth of a larger one. Must have been one of the later ones, as J. James Weill was successor of Andre-Beranger, who was successor of Rouyer.
Scans donated by Priscilla Cailly, edited and charted by Sytske Wijnsma.

A-SW049 Brigitta Hochfelden – Moderne Häkel-Arbeiten
Hardcover, 32 pages, contains instructions for Irish crochet, filet and other crochet motifs. Page 8 and 9 have been joined as one and likewise page 24 and 25. Beautiful glossy paper, no date but certainly before WW1. Included a double-sided pattern sheet, which for editing and printing purposes has been split in four pages.
Scanned and edited by Sytske Wijnsma.

A-MH195 Journal des Demoiselles – Embroidered border on black background
Single sheet, embroidery pattern with a black background printed on cream paper. The design is half of a border design with pieces of felt appliquéd on black fabric, with stitching in red, yellow, and blue and presumably some beadwork included as well. Should look gorgeous on velvet.
From the collection of Marleen van Horssen, edited by Sytske Wijnsma.
